All Church Training School (A.C.T.S.) : Separate classes for children, youth and adults each Wednesday evening (children are divided into classrooms according to age and grade). Biblical teachings are presented in "Sunday School" format with opportunities for discussion and prayer.
Bible Quiz : For children in grades 5 thru 12. Each quiz season (beginning in September) a different portion of the New Testament is studied. Quizzing is accomplished using electronic equipment. Children's Church : For children ages 3 thru 10. During the second-half of the Sunday Worship Service, the children meet for their own church service, consisting of music, teaching, and other learning activities.
Fine Arts : For youth in grades 7 thru 12. An opportunity for youth to share and showcase their talents - vocal, instrumental, drama, writing, preaching, etc. - in Christian competition with other teens within the state, and potentially the rest of the nation. Men's Ministries : The men meet periodically throughout the year for a time of prayer, praise, devotion, and fellowship. Opportunities are presented each year to attend conventions, retreats, seminars, and other outings.
Missionettes : For girls ages 3 thru 11. The girls are separated into groups depending on age. Each group has a set of planned goals of achievement, mixed in with learning experiences and fun activities. For more general information about Missionettes, visit the A/G Missionettes page
Music/Audio-Visual : Our praise and worship team consists of a several-piece orchestra, song leaders, and audio and visual technicians. The audio-visual crew also produce cassette tapes of each service and make them available to congregation members upon request. Our adult choir ministers periodically throughout the year and presents seasonal cantatas for Easter and Christmas. Our children's choir ministers periodically throughout the year and presents special programs for Children's Day and Christmas.
Nursing Homes Ministry : Several visits are scheduled throughout the year at neighboring facilities. The gospel message is presented in music and in word. Opportunities exist for personal evangelizing with the patients.
Royal Rangers : For boys ages 3 thru 11. the boys are separated into groups depending on age. Each group has a set of planned goals of achievement, mixed in with learning experiences and fun activities. Since this program is similar to the national Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts programs, scheduled camping trips are among the most popular activities. Singles Ministry : An opportunity for the single members of the church to meet for devotions and fellowship.
Ushers : Ushers serve weekly on a rotational basis. They extend friendly greetings to people as they enter the sanctuary, distribute bulletins and visitor packs, assist with seating, and collect the offering.
Women's Ministries : This is a service-oriented ministry as women are encouraged to use their talents in various ministries within the church. The women meet periodically throughout the year for a time of prayer, praise, devotion, and fellowship. Opportunities are presented each year to attend conventions, retreats, seminars, and other outings.
Youth Group : For children ages 12 thru
18. The youth meet weekly with each meeting having a different emphasis. Several
outings and events are scheduled throughout the year.
